Mixed media and alternative photographic methods have always fascinated me. The process of experimenting with the hand crafted photographic method brings the artists’ hand back into the artistic process. Analog and alternative methods of photography show off the magic in the medium and speak to the two dimensionality and origins in chemical functions before the digital takeover. Working in photo transfers, cyanotypes, and analog photography are some of my favorite ways to re-establish myself in both the historical and contemporary photographic trends.
